CRAWLEY CIRCLE

In glorious sunshine teams from across the Province competed for the inaugural title of being provincial Croquet Champions. It took place at the superb Sussex County Croquet Club at Southwick. The members and officials of the club were most hospitable and offered advice and coaching to newbie players. A superb lunch was held half way through the play and many Catenians were appreciative of having Dark Star Ale on draught to aid concentration!

Haywards Heath Circle and in particular Brother Alan Rew with President of Haywards Heath John Goulding had worked very hard in making the day a great success.
